The actor says the storyline has been “left open” with his character Marcus wanting to take over the Ibiza drug operation from the Calafat family.

He told Digital Spy: “It’s brilliantly left open, especially for Marcus, my character.
“I think the last scene is him wanting to take over the drug operation from the Calafat family.
“There’s many, many loose ends that need to be tied up. I think there’s definitely potential for the younger actors to still come back, because you could argue that there’s, you know, the lost years.
“There’s lost flashbacks that we haven’t addressed yet.”
Mays previously revealed he was “pitching” for another series.
The former Line of Duty star, 42, told Metro.co.uk: “I mean look, I think it’s calling out for a second series.
“None of it’s been properly resolved. I don’t wanna give away too much but, yeah I’m just pitching for a second series.”
Mays’ co-star Angela Griffin, who stars as Marcus’ ex-wife Anna, agreed.

But the former Corrie actress admitted the limitations presented by the COVID-19 restrictions would make playing the part tricky.
Griffin, 43, said: “If we can get past all of those social distancing things – because Anna’s life isn’t about social distancing, she needs people to be able to touch each other… one hundred per cent, I’d be up for doing another season.”
The 10-part English-Spanish Netflix production is a modern-day whodunit set in Ibiza, following Zoe Collins’ (Laura Haddock) journey to discover the truth about the death of her DJ brother Axel Collins (Tom Rhys Harries).
The show is the brainchild of writer Álex Pina, who previously created popular Spanish drama Money Heist.
White Lines season one is available to stream now on Netflix.
